Secondary Level Devlog 1.3.1

For my second milestone, I was tasked with creating initial low-poly environmental assets for our secondary level. I tried to follow my blueprint as a guide in creating a believable backyard scene. I first defined the perimeter of the property with a fence and scaled it and the house properly to allow room for a cat to explore. I used probuilder mostly to create my initial assets like the house, shed, and patio, and the terrain tool to create the yard.

At this stage, it is important to determine which assets will be necessary in the final product, and which assets will add to the level, but are not required.

In my opinion, we must have:

     House / Garage and Patio

     Furniture for patio and yard

     Car

     Fence

     Shed

     Ramps / walkways

Bushes to divide up the scenes/levels

     Trash Cans to jump on

Things that would be cool to have:

     Playground to climb on

     Sandbox

     Pool to avoid

     Tree/Treehouse to climb

Flowers / flower boxes to climb on the patio

     Gardening stuff

     Bird stuff

     Webs/spider under Patio

     Kid's toys

     Soccer ball to push around

At this stage, I am also making plans to potentially divide up the map into several sections using bushes/plants to separate the areas.
